Why ask for a fight that Froch already refused and gave up a title because of it? The title that DeGale won yesterday, as a matter of fact. If Froch was not interested in defending against him, why would be interested in fighting him now?

It should be the goal of any top fighter and title holder to want or at least try to be the man in their own division. I don't think DeGale saying he's not on Ward's level is an acceptable reason, nor is it the kind of mentally I would ever want to see in a fighter. If he doesn't believe he's capable of being the best he's in the wrong sport. But I have a strong su****ion that he likely made those comments a while ago, before testing himself and defeating Dirrell and being a world champion. Perhaps Im wrong but that just isn't the type of mentality you see in fighters.

Actually he didn't say that at all.

He said Ward's the number 1 in the division because he's proven that and then he and Dirrell were 2 and 3. He never said he wasn't on his level. James DeGale signed to fight Andre Ward last year you mug.

its an interesting match up because if degale cant back up ggg then there is a good chance he loses. both dont know how to fight on the back foot so it comes down to who is stronger and better stamina

3 round stamina? Is that why he finished the fight the stronger? He was coasting and conserving energy if anything.
