Either of them would be the best win on GGG's resume

GGG already knocked Bute out as an amateur. No need to do it again. Kessler being mentioned is a farce because the man is ****ing retired. It was ridiculous when he was mentioned as an opponent for Ward and it is still ridiculous now.

Yet both would be the best opponents GGG has ever faced.

This is Eddie Hearn so of course there's a slight concern he tries to get Martin Murray or Rocky Fielding but realistically there are a lot of good potential opponents for him and Hearn will want someone with a bit of a name/reputation. Maybe they will try and bring Hopkins over and put it on PPV.

I'm guessing his priority will be to try and get Froch to take the fight.

They are not looking to Froch as an opponent. There is no point in that seeing as he refused to defend the same title against DeGale and vacated it instead.

          From BN24...

Jim McDonnell, the trainer for DeGale, told Boxing News that 35-year-old Lucian Bute (31-2, 24 KOs) and 36-year-old Mikkel Kessler (46-3, 35 KOs) are both possibilities for DeGale’s next fight in September or October. Kessler hasn’t fought in two years since his 12 round unanimous decision loss to Carl Froch in May of 2013.

Man October? Why not strike while the iron is hot and get him something sooner like July or August? Ah well good on DeGale.

Seriously, I worry about your compulsive fan boyism sometimes.

You're just butt hurt that Degale won. What nonsense were you going on about how you were more impressed with Dirrell? Yet you picked Andre to win. WTF?

You're in your 40s living with a dog to give you company. At this age you should be mending fences in real life and not worry about a random bloke on a forum.

Because he's just had a 16 week training camp preparing for the biggest fight of his life and deserves the summer off? Boxing fans don't seem to understand that boxers have lives and not everything revolves around them.

I thought the long layoff would mean them just waiting for Groves to win so they could do the big fight in October. If Groves wins the WBC belt then they need to fight each other right away because I could see either of them fucking up and losing their belt and stop the big fight from happening.

Anthony Dirrell tried to cherry pick Badou Jack which went wrong but it was still supposed to be an easy defence before he took on Groves.

Uh...which toilet attendant is Deontay Wilder fighting in his first defence again?

DeGale has earned a homecoming fight having gone to America and beaten one of their most talented boxers.
I like how they force us to go to america and steal the belts then get pissed cause they defend the belts infront of their own fans in the uk cause most americans cant pull a crowd for shizzle

Groves will probably fight Badou Jack in September and you think they're going to get the DeGale fight done by October? Lol....it's probably gonna be a stadium fight anyway so it will be the summer
