At this point Peterson is actually the best guy in the IBF top 10 by some distance.
Its at 144 because Shawn Porter is a Welterweight and Broner isn't.

It's messed up how he didn't lose it after Matthysse, but did after arguably beating Garcia.

Cuenca v Yang has already been ordered for the vacant title, takes place on July 18th on a Top Rank show in Macau.

It has just occurred to me that the winner will possibly be Crawford's next opponent.

I'm all for that match-up because 140 needs some new faces in the mix. Crawford could be undisputed champ by 2017 if things play out in his favor.

I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't a solid way of Top Rank getting Crawford out of a Matthysse mandatory.

Maybe if Garcia vacates the WBC, Matthysse can fight Postol for a vacant title otherwise he's still going to be stuck on the outside title-wise.

If that happens and he can't get a title shot I wouldn't mind seeing Matthysse-Herrera.

It's already been confirmed, Ik Yang will face Cesar Cuenca (#2 vs #1) for the vacant IBF title on the Bey-Shafikov undercard in Macao. Either July or August, can't remember exactly

If Matthysse gets to fight Postol for the WBC strap, then Cuenca beats Yang which I think he will; a unifcation fight in Argentina between the two Argentines would be massive.
