It wasn't a robbery, yet because it was a close fight, there will be a rematch.

When fighters from other countries are robbed in the USA there's not usually a rematch (Meehan-Brewster, Golota-Byrd, Provodnikov-Bradley, Matthysse-Alexander) because non-American promoters have less influence with the sanctioning orgs.
You don't like Povetkin and you'll be rooting against him no matter where it is, right?
Huh, those good old fact ey.

At this point LacedUp is convinced but he will fire back anyway because he doesn't really care for the truth, only agenda.

It's actually far more likely Povetkin would be robbed in the USA.

I've read rumors that sometimes Wilder loads his gloves. He wouldn't get away with that in Russia.
That's bull**** and you know it. Wilder has tremendous power; that's undeniable. It's like when people were accusing Golovkin of tampering with his gloves, it's nonsense

Better believe Povetkin chin checks him several times and breaks the glass in the later rounds. I don't think the fight will necessarily be onesided though, that is if Wilder takes a page out of the Klitschko book and works his reach advantage.

But you answered as if I said "What boxers have been robbed in Russia"

Again I ask: Name one boxer who has been robbed in Moscow?

There have been many world title fights in Moscow, especially during the past few years. I can't recall a single robbery.

Be reasonable and agree with the truth for once.

Povetkin pretty much lurches forward pretty slowly eating punches and then gets off 2-3 hooks when he gets close enough. It works fine enough when he's fighting someone roughly his size (6'2", 75" reach). WIth Wlad we see what happens when he fights someone the size of Wlad.

The HW division is just passing guys like Povetkin by. Five years ago he was a decent sized HW. Now you have to be like 6'6", 82" reach at least to really be competitive. He's just too small to do anything against Wilder.

Wilder stops him in rounds 4-5..

povetkin does tend to eat jabs and is without very good head movement. im with you on that but hes much better built for taking punishment imo and will be able to get inside and do damage on deontay. I wouldnt be surprised if povetkin hit the deck a couple times but I think he gets thru and stops deontay in the mid to late rounds. deontay is too upper body heavy and doesnt have the legs to thwart povetkin for 12 rounds imo. wilder can crack and is a live underdog but my gut goes with povetkin by tko

That's true I did. I didn't realize there was a big difference between Grozny and Moscow in terms of federation, commission etc.

But I think a reasonable discussion would be between Russia and the US. In my opinion it's unfair to compare one city to a whole country where there have been and are many more world title fights. Not saying that there have been any robberies in Russia as a whole either - but I think it would be a fairer comparison.

Other than that you could say Vegas vs Moscow.

I think Povetkin's headmovement has improved since Wlad. He's shown good faints to come in with the hook.

Of course it could improve, but I think it's been better since his early days. He's found his own style more lately imo. He's been looking real sharp vs good opposition.
