The answer is no. A resounding no.
He beat Broner for the WBA welterweight title. Before that he had a title at 140.

I'm a Maidana fan. I like him and will always tune into his fights.
He's CV isn't up to much though. Broner is probably he best win.

Good one, how is Broner a shoe in HOF? He barely beat Paulie (close fight, if Paulie had power Broner probably loses). His resume is garbage, he hasn't beat anyone that would get him in. If he ever rematched Maidana he would get KO'd. Broner is okay, but above 135 he has no power, he loses to the top fighters (that is why he ducks Khan, Guerrero and Matthysse among others).

Needs another top level win... Let him beat thurman, garcia, khan rematch, marquez, Bradley...

Maidana is close but he needs another big win or two

He has been the ONLY fighter to beat floyd TWICE. Plus, the Broner fight seals his entrance. He gets in without a doubt.

Lol he had an Interim title.

He's not a two time world champion. He's a former WBA WW champion with zero defences.

People are mentioning Arturo Gatti, but his career was far better than Maidana's up until now. And Gatti's probably the worst inductee there is.

wtf are you talking about close? He's not close at all. Malignaggi is closer than he is and he's miles away!

Maidana HOF... Lol. I can't believe some people are even thinking about it

                    Argentinian hall of fame maybe.

It's extremely unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
