Would like to see it but if Ward's moving up I dont think this fight is interesting enough for him to go back to 168 for
DeGale-Ward

Nice to see a challenger emerge for Ward in the Division. Nobody at 168 is beating Ward though and no his Layoff is not going to somehow take away his Skills. In fact I think that Layoff will preserve his body and extend his career. Wouldn't be shocked if he comes back BETTER than he was before which would be scary.
I like DeGale a lot though, I have him #2 at 168 right now and I think he would school the rest in the DivisionLast edited by sicko; 05-23-2015, 05:52 PM.Comment

Last I checked Ward was inactive for 2 years and now is asking for at least 2 tuneup fights before he is ready to face an elite opponent like GGG. Inform yourself before posting, casual fan.Comment

DeGale proved himself today. Ward hasn't fought in an eternity. That would be an interesting match-up.Comment

Close friend of mine saw Chunky melt badly in Marbella about 4 years ago to a nutty crazy looking Russian who properly put it all over James and Chunky didn't want any of it! I believe my mans word too. Could of just been that he didn't want to lose his boxing license and career but still, he certainly gave a **** lol.Comment

So many people keep bringing up Ward's name as if he hasn't been inactive for 1 1/2 years and what version of him will return after that and surgery...and what version he will be against someone real...not the bum he will face next month. He may be done as a boxer...or maybe not the same guy. Maybe he will be better than ever...but I will wait and see about Ward before getting excited about watching him now.Comment

Only thing James is lacking is experience. He lost some middle rounds tonight due to that. He deliberately took his foot off gas, saving it for the later rounds, although he didn't have to.
He will only be better and better.
Ward-DeGale would be a great fight, not one sided at all.Comment
