Ok, just fight another flat footed fighter and rob the American public for another 60 dollars and get on with your ******** lifestyle. Time for the new generation to take over I sure will be happy when Mayweather retires. Same thing goes with Pacquiao with his bible studies and getting ripped off by pastors salivating to get a piece of his stash quoting scripture. To be quite honest Mayweather should either fight Thurman, Lara, Andrade, one of the Charo brothers or Golovkin. You know try to challenge yourself. Fight a young hungry "slick" fighter (yes I know Golovkin is the exception). Do something what all the past greats did Sugar Ray Robinson, Roy Jones Jr., Sugar Ray Leonard etc. Look at little Roberto Duran who started at 126 and went all the way yp to 168 and fought the champion there I forget his name but he was an absolute beast. But no just scam the public again and fight another flat footed fighter. It's like imagine the Chicago Bulls when Jordan played saying ok my next match I want to play the Los Angeles Clippers today, and a host of other crap teams. Nope Jordan had to go through the best night like Jordan (Canelo, Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz, Judah) hahaha give me a break. Thank you. The earlier Mayweather retires, the better. He messed up the sport of boxing. The way he fights - holding, forearm pushing, hugging, running. And the way he conducts himself outside the ring and bragging about it - spying on his opponents, using illegal performance enhancing like the vampire facial, the****utic exemptions, choosing his opponents' gloves and even cup lol etc. Making sure his opponent is "uncomfortable" before the fight - signs he doesn't believe he can truly win on a level playing field - and he is the one who keeps using the phrase lol.

With Alvarez vs Cotto likely for Sept. 12 on PPV, I think Mayweather needs to fight Marquez & hype it as two future HOFers with a great undercard (for once on a PPV it'd be nice to see a badass undercard) to compete with that huge fight OR he needs to swipe Cotto from Alvarez & go for a 160lb title to further enhance his legacy. Or Pacquiao needs to say "lol jk bout the shoulder, the surgery I had was for a mole on my back, I'm pine & ready for Sept. 12".
I don't think Khan is sellable unless they do an epic undercard & with some name guys already on tap for June/July it seems unlikely that a high level undercard could be pulled together in the time needed. Might be able to have a loaded A side undercard, but I think most fans would prefer to watch Alvarez vs Cotto over Mayweather vs Khan + Santa Cruz, Mares, Broner & Guerrero beating up on cab drivers & maybe Badou Jack vs George Groves as the co-main lol.Comment
