The saline solution was legal, but taking it with an IV drip is against WADA protocol. If USADA was willing to bend their own rules to grant Floyd a TUE for use of saline, it makes you question what other rules are they willing to bend for him.

We don't know the scope of the TUE at all, only that it includes rehydration via masking agent. Again, given that Floyd doesn't dehydrate, its odd he'd need to resort to such drastic last minute measures.

But something he'd anticipate in advance and request a TUE? Therapy is for long term conditions, you can't request that last minute. Or at least you can't be granted, but this is Usada and seems anything goes.
