They said that we don't have to worry about what Floyd took after the weigh in because Floyd was urine tested not blood tested. SO yes, there are definite concerns.
Both of them had blood and urine samples taken on May 2. The day before, only urine. And the process was random, so neither boxer knew exactly when they'd come for samples. Everything returned clean.

The same commission that chose to turn a blind eye for his 'Dog House' sparring sessions that involved unsanctioned fights lasting more than 30 minutes? The same commission that accepted his blatant lie about the use of marijuana on All Access? The same commission that gave him a license to fight Miguel Cotto after he pled guilty to battery domestic violence, from which he only served 60 days of a 90 day jail sentence?

USADA conducted the tests, not NSAC.

        • The same USADA that was rumored to have swept three of Floyd's positive drug tests under the rug?

More specifically, it was rumored that Mayweather’s “A” sample had tested positive on three occasions and, after each positive test, USADA had found exceptional circumstances in the form of inadvertent use and gave Floyd a waiver. This waiver, according to the rumor, negated the need for a test of Floyd’s “B” sample. And because the “B” sample was never tested, a loophole in USADA’s contract with Mayweather and Golden Boy allowed the testing to proceed without the positive “A” sample results being reported to Mayweather’s opponent or the Nevada State Athletic Commission (which had jurisdiction over the fights).

Come on man. You Floyd fans used to be PED detectives that had 3 degrees on this subject and now you are all playing dumb.

The blood test is AFTER the fight. Floyd was not blood tested after April 21, only urine tested and had taken a substance as posted in this thread. We will never know if this substance was used to mask or for what.

Here is where you get smashed.

There were only 2 dates where USADA only took a urine sample from Floyd Mayweather. This was on March 19 and May 1. Other than those two dates, the other 8-9 dates he gave both blood and urine samples. And remember, the process is random. The athlete never knows whether they will take only urine, or both blood and urine.

              • The group of fans that were against better testing and said "let the commission do their job". Are now saying testing isn't good enough and are against the commission, while complaining Pacquiao wasn't allowed a drug that numbs his entire body to pain.

Pacquiao was taking 4 drugs during training and you're complaining over salt water?

Saline, or in layman's terms "salt water", is commonly used by competitive endurance athletes as a masking agent for PEDs.

Here's an excerpt from that article.

The most common way the cyclists confounded blood tests was through saline injections, a banned but undetectable practice. The extra hemoglobin and hematocrit cells that help a racer retain oxygen and avoid fatigue can be watered down below official thresholds by adding a saline solution to the blood within just 20 minutes' notice of an imminent test.
