if the money's there, froch will do it. he has supreme, almost delusional, confidence in himself. i'm sure he'd love to upset the applecart and ride off into the sunset a hero, the man who knocked out george groves in front of 80,000 fans at wembley stadium and then stopped the most feared man in boxing in his tracks. he'd never shut up about it. and beating golovkin should be enough to put him above calzaghe in most people's lists

Damn, if the Cobra takes on GGG at this point, when he has absolutely no reason to, no one has any grounds to ever talk **** about him ever again.

I think it happens. Sometimes they say stuff like this to get the upper hand in negotiations and force the other side to open their pockets.

Lol you post like an emotional woman. Froch does not owe Golovkin a fight.

Fair point. But you must admit nobody of value will fight him. Listen I admire Froch's heart, conditioning and chin. But really I don't see anything special speed wise and technically. Degale would murder him hence the ducking. I think that Froch is too arrogant for his skill set. I really think that beating Groves ( a legitimate scrub) Bute come on please and an over the hill Kessler is nothing special. I also think that "slick" boxers like Degale and Dirrell (he was robbed big time) are easy pickings. I think Froch is ok. You know what I didn't really like what I saw in Golovkin's last fight. However, I will give him a pass. But in the end the only way Golovkin loses is if he can't handle the weight. Hopefully we will see. Froch is arrogant enough to think he could win. He will be in for quite the surprise

Froch has literally fought everyone in his division and Ward is the only person to convincingly beat him.

Golovkin has fought literally no one. The pressure is all on him in this fight.

GGG hasn't established himself as an elite level fighter yet and he would be a regular sized MW moving up to fight a bigger man, so Froch wouldn't get the credit he deserved for beating him. People would just say GGG was over-rated and should have stayed at 160 where he belonged.

Froch fought everybody he should have fought in his career, so nobody has any grounds to talk ***** about him now. That doesn't stop them doing it though.

GGG wishes he had a Groves or Bute on his resume.

Agreed. I used to hate him but he won me over, taking challenge after challenge.

GGG has cleaned out the middleweight division. This talk of him not having fought anyone needs to stop. He has vanquished all the top contenders, former titlist, etc that will fight him.

Macklin, Geale, Murray, all the same people that give Martinez legitimacy, but in more convincing fashion, but now they are bums, when they were actually the best that middleweight had to offer at the time.

No, for you he has to jump weight classes... something Froch did how many time?
