Ward against GGG or Kovalev are superfights. They need to happen.

I dont see Ward withstanding Kovs power for 12 rounds. He would have to be picture perfect. Land his shot then move or clinch. I don't give a damn what people say about his clinching, facing a monster like Kovalev you have to give him a pass. Let's not forget Ali clinched Foreman like 280 times to wear him down.

Pascal was boxing beautifully but the thing is, one clean punch from Kovalev and all your momentum goes out the window. We already know Ward can't hurt him and he will look very tiny in the ring.

I think in a few years Kovalev moves to heavyweight. I honestly don't see any at 175 who can eat his punches for 12 rounds.

How does Kovalev vs Wilder sound like in two years. I think its very possible.

In the article it quotes Kovalev saying that a fight between he and Andre Ward would/could be an important and interesting fight and further goes on to give appropriate props to Ward. What class.

Kovalev is the man at LHW.

Next we'll see if Ward is still competent and not uncomfortable at that weight.

I expect he'll prove out fine and this fight should take place sometime in the next year or two.

I kinda' favor Ward in this matchup but it wouldn't completely shock me nor make me suicidal to be wrong. In any case, I'm sure both fighters will represent themselves well and it's not terribly unlikely they will produce a masterwork.

So it's pretty much a win/win.

I don't understand your racism when a negro trains Kovalev and it was another negro (Emmanuel Steward) who made Wlad what he is today.
