I honestly have never seen Mayweather put on a "masterclass"

Yup, .... I posted it in a follow up post. You forgot to mention the fact that he was months away from serving jail time for domestic violence charges, and in an ironic twist of fate, was being criticized for it by none other than America's most famous woman beater himself - Fraud Mayweather Jr.
Not only was Fraud Jr. using the domestic violence charges to gain a psychological edge over Castillo, but he took it a step further by running a anti-domestic violence campaign leading up to the fight and dedicating the event to "all the battered women in the world", his walkout song even admonished violence against women.
This is the hypocrisy of Fraud Mayweather Jr., a living, breathing, walking contradiction of the lowest degree.

Incorrectly analyzed by a Floyd fan. As expected.
Explanation:
# of clinches to action ratio was very high. Also, Floyd would use other tactics as well like push off on Manny or put Manny in a head lock or bend below the waist or a combination of the above. At times, the ref would say "don't do it again" but the damage was done and of course, Floyd did it again.
Oh, yes, Floyd would also do a lot of running. While not a foul, Floyd shouldn't get credit and stank up the so called "fight of the century".
The one armed Manny had the better, cleaner punches landed on Floyd and the better combinations. I can't even recall much of anything coming from Floyd. I do not even remember a combination coming from Floyd. Mostly weak jabs and grazing punches. As his daddy said. Floyd was fighting scared.Comment

So that is what you saw?
Fight was a WW fight but had a CW of 144.
Floyd made Marquez look like he was 2 fights away from fighting at 130 and Floyd cheated by not even coming in at the initially contracted CW. Marquez also looked like he never fought at 140 nor 147. Well, that is because Marquez NEVER fought at 140 nor 147 before the Floyd fight.
You must be so proud ........ Not a peep from you about the weight (division) disparity nor anything else about this sham ..... but that is to be expected from Reloaded. You used to hate all that but with Floyd, it's all good.

I'm glad we all have opinions because I agree with the TS as I've mentioned the same things numerous times throughout the years.
Corrales just got out of prison so his head wasn't there, and Gatti wasn't exactly known as a defense specialist. He went life and death with club fighter Micky Ward 3 times. wtf.
Honestly, the comparison with Rigo is fair. You just have to add in Floyd's big mouth that gets him to piss off enough people to watch him. Obviously he needs that because his style is better than Nyquil.
Here's the thing. When you think of the all time greats and the great fights they had, there were always some drama or KO's involved. Floyd has NONE of that. Nobody is going to pull up his fight tapes in 20 years to get enjoyment out of them because there is none to be found. I honestly don't know how that can be celebrated.
You need that defining win on your career that makes you look incredible or "legendary". I haven't seen that yet from Jr. He either has boring UDs or fights that you swing either way but give it to Jr. because he's in the MGM, his home away from his home a few blocks away, lol.

Because Manny got schooled by Floyd, that's why.Comment

He had Mayweather in the middle of the ring and did nothing..because he was scared.Comment

Genaro Hernandez
Corrales
Gatti
Hatton
Marquez
Guerrero
Canelo
Others I won't mention, the others aren't necessarily masterclass but definitely in the same neighborhood.
Said I wasn't gonna respond to this troll thread but in good, it exposed a good amount of posters.Comment
