And as many people have already said, Alexander said he wants to fight Thurman. That is a much much much better fight. And Alex is free.
I don't think Thurman wants any of Alexander, as Alexander might just box circles around Thurman. I'd watch that fight. But Thurman appears comfortable being a coward and a hypocrite.
I think 40 year old slow Bundu really shows Thurman is over rated, and a boxer would school him.

People have mentioned both Alexander and Berto, and both are better. Alexander is much better. Collazo is not good anymore. One KO win over Victor Ortiz's remains doesn't change that.

"Overrated fighter in my division? Right now, I would call Amir Khan. I would say Amir Khan. To me, he's yet to prove himself at 147 pounds. He fought Collazo -- over the hill Collazo. Now he's fighting Devon Alexander, who in reality, it's really two 140 pounders. If you go back two years ago, it's two 140 pounders fighting at a catchweight. Fight a real welterweight, baby."
He **** on Khan for the Collazo fight.

I think Alexander could beat Thurman, and he knows it. If a slow ass 40 year old Bundu can hold is own without breaking a sweat. A fast, elite boxer like Alexander might just shut out Thurman.
People forget how Alexander schooled the living shlt out of Maidana. Not just out boxing him, but also giving Maidana a beating, that Marcos admitted, made him decide to retire from boxing.

He lost to Porter, Bradley, and got gifts over Matthysse and Kotelnik.
Bundu held his own? What? He got dropped, and lost every round against Thurman.

Thurman may hold a title and keeps getting rave reviews but the fact is he's being matched carefully - pretty much the same as before he got that belt. Collazo is tough and has skills but is lacking one thing that will be huge: punching power. Anyone that has followed his career knows the Ortiz KO was an aberration. Ortiz was past peak and his chin had become suspect. Thurman will likely stop Luis as Collazo won't be able to get enough respect to keep him honest. Stylewise, Alexander and Porter would be major threats for Thurman and his people know it.
