Even though Donaire knocked him down? I even gave Doanire a rd or 2 plus the KD. Interesting...

To me it is taking away someones offense tonthe point of demoralizing but also producing offense flawlessly

Rigo vs Donaire, Floyd Canelo, Kovalev Hopkins

Going in there just to make someone look bad without doing any kind of significant offensive work, is not a lesson, it is missing the point of boxing and running. That was Lara, whoch is why his "lesson" did not produce a win

Still a boxing lesson, everything Donaire did was rendered useless.

The KD was largely circumstancial and more about Rigos lack of pro tactics savvy. He got up and pushed his **** in. Won the rest of the round. Even Donaire said Rigo gave him a lesson

Floyd vs Canelo was a good example. Floyd did look like a professor and Canelo looked like a freshman.

a boxing lesson is anytime that your opponent tries to initiate offense you grab and hold them, bend below the waist, etc...you totally shut them down every time they try. boxing lesson!

Yeah man, I don't know how people can call Rigo boring. He actually has a mean streak and proceeds to beat the **** out of you.

I think only someone with boxing understanding can really watch a fight and understand what's going on.

Exactly. Especially when your opponent is flat footed and has no idea how to deal with that defensive tactic. It makes him go back to the drawing board and learn how to deal with that...hence...lesson.

Worked like a charm for Marcos Maidana after the Alexander lesson. He got dirty in the first fight with Floyd.
