I don't see why GGG should stay at 160.

You'll be disappointed if you think Kovalev beats Ward.

I doubt GGG vs Ward ever happens. Ward ain't going down and GGG ain't moving up for a Ward fight.

Ward seems like he is outgrowing 168 right now, so the Kov fight might actually happen. I hope so, Kov is a solid boxer, but Ward is better. But Kov also has the sandman in his gloves, Ward doesn't. Ward hasn't really tested himself since the super six, I think it's about time he does.

Mexican fans love an aggressive fighter regardless of race so he'll make alot more $$$ with the millions of rabid Mexican boxing fans in California than he would with only thousands of Russians in NYC. Heck, if he moved to San Antonio I guarantee he'd easily rival Canelo in popularity, most probably even surpass him as an adopted son. I already have a nickname for his fists--> His right hand = "Tumba Dientes" , his left hand = "la Castigadora" and his jab would be "mata piojos".

I think it's more the other way around, the Mexican-American fans are drawn to certain fighters rather than having them foist upon them. Maidana, Matthysse were adopted by them and now Golovkin too. It doesn't surprise me to read Kovalev was mobbed by those fans. They like a certain style.
          Exactly! ..................

I actually think Ward has a very good chance at beating Kovalev and for that matter Stevenson, I'm not asking Ward to move up cos I dislike him and want him to lose, I'm asking for it because I want to see the best fight the best. Ward's biggest fights right now are at 175.

And as I said, GGG is a viable opponent, I'm not one of those saying GGG should stay at 160 to avoid getting beat.

You best improve the quality of your posts next time son.

Kovalev throuroghly brutalizes, outboxes and embarasses Ward for 5 rounds before taking his soul and knocking him out.

Ward wouldn't even win a round. Not one single round. This will truly be easy work for Kovalev if Ward ever grows a pair and steps up (don't bet on it).

This fight isnt' happening. Ward wants no part of the P4P #1 fighter once Wlad and Floyd retire. Ward got knocked out by a journeyman scrub in Darnell Boone. Imagine what Kovalev will do?

***inb4 someone says KOvalev got dropped by Boone too, but ignore the fact that Andre Ward has eagle feathers as fists

This is Kovalevs best bet. My whole family loves Kovalev. Mexican-American fan base is his best bet.

What, to pick up Kovalev's kids?

Because after Kovalev beats his ass, Ward will be regulated to be Kovalev's driver.
