Boxing is a martial art and combat sport in which two people engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, endurance and will, by throwing punches at each other, usually with gloved hands. Historically, the goals have been to weaken and knock down the opponent.
Rule #2 of the Queensbury rules. No wrestling or hugging allowed.
    Start watching ballet.
Floyd exhibits elite speed. Check. Floyd has the best reflexes in boxing. Check. Floyd has legendary stamina and endurance. Check. Floyd has WILLED his way to 48 consecutive victories in the professional sport of boxing. Check. And he throws punches with a gloved hand.

By your very definition of the sweet science, Floyd qualifies as an elite Martial Artist.

You say Floyd lost all those fights, but the judges, most other elite leveled professional fighters, multitudes of fans and his official record all state he WON them all. Your argument is on life support.

Lastly, you say hugging isn't allowed and it's overall boring and unmanly.

Did you check Canelo Alvarez clinching James Kirkland in the first round? He was doing it to slow Kirkland's momentum down. If you were truly a student of the game you'd know that clinching is an invaluable tactic when fighting in the squared circle.

Have you ever watched a Klitshko fight? They clinch too. Do you hold them along with the majority of every pound for pound level boxer that clinches? Do you criticize them the same way you criticize TBE?

    I doubt it.

Learn the SWEET SCIENCE before you criticize it's GRAND MASTER.

Garcia should review the tape and take a closer look on who got warned by the Ref for low blow, elbowing, excessive holding and hitting! and running! and got BOOED inside his own territory! which give another meaning of TBE (The Booed Ever)

Any future/next opponent of Floyd jr should NOT agree fighting in LAS VEGAS, where, as they say: it is a place where Floyd Jr is a "protected item"!

By September? Negotiations haven't even started, then you have to go through the whole HBO/Showtime and sponsorship thing. After all that GGG will still have to lose 6lbs of muscle that he didn't have to before. Even if this fight made any remote sense, it doesn't have time to come about.

He should fight ADRIEN BRONER! The crowd would be behind him, and Broners mouth would sell even more than anyone else. Floyd vs Broner, Old vs Young, Floyds last fight!............................then announce his comeback from retirement fight vs manny. 1st Final fight = Mayweather vs Broner

Unless Thurman is his next opponent, I could really care less. It could literally be a taxi cab driver.

Floyd won that fight easily. Maidana won more rounds than Cotto.
