Money is coming off a legendary run of elite level competition.

Beating Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez in a 2 year span is beyond impressive. Especially when you consider Floyd is 38 years old.

Squeezed in between boxing lessons of Pac and Canelo, he whooped Maidana TWICE.

Before that he was coming off back to back W's over JMM and Shane Mosley. Are you kidding me? Unheard of.

So if I'm Floyd, I ride off into the sunset with Lamont Peterson in September. Retire. Come out of retirement to wax Manny Pac in '16. After that ride off into the sunset as the best of your era which covered 20 years.

Lamont Peterson? Really? At least Danny Garcia would be an easy schooling and another 0 taken. Plus Haymon gets to cash out Danny.

Danny Garcia would work, too. However, I think it's debatable that Lamont beat Danny Garcia earlier this year.

Floyd hasn't fought a slick boxer since Mosley. Plus it's a noticeable easier fight than his previous 10. He deserves it.

Of course he has to say that, he works for Floyd. This Mexican cutman has worked with many boxers and he knows deep in his soul that Floyd has received gift decisions and is pampered. Floyd should fight C3PO or R2D2, maybe he won´t run or hug as much and maybe, just maybe he can KO at least C3PO since R2D2 would be unfazed by his " punches ".

I take it you're not a fan of the sweet science. Are you a bored WWE fan?

                Peterson slick? Because he's black?

Why are you race baiting me?

I think James Kirkland is Black and I'd hardly call him slick.

Stop playing dumb. Most African American fighters have a slick, cerebral style of boxing.

                  Don't be threatened. It's ok.

We know Mexican fighters fight with loads of heart. We know Irish fighters are tough as nails. We know most Eastern Euro fighters are stiff and fight with their high, Cuban boxers are normally slick and "cute" as well, etc...

Everyone brings something to the table. It's ok to admit that most ELITE level AA fighters are defensive minded and fight with a slick style of boxing.

Hugging has nothing to do with the Sweet Science which by the way is a blurry definition for boxing in English-speaking countries and has nothing to do with hugging and running which Floyd does. He should be in MMA his hugging would help. Floyd lost but was given decisions vs Castillo, De la Hoya, Maidana and Paquiao. His KO percentage is so low it is funny.
Boxing is a martial art and combat sport in which two people engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, endurance and will, by throwing punches at each other, usually with gloved hands. Historically, the goals have been to weaken and knock down the opponent.
Rule #2 of the Queensbury rules. No wrestling or hugging allowed.

Peterson isn't slick at all though.
