Pacquiao Clean Punches Against Mayweather

I said IF you look for the catch you see a catch, the eyes often see what they want to see. I followed it with saying if you watch Manny's face you can see Floyd hit him. So therefore i can see both sides of the argument, your eyes see what they want to see a lot of the time.

But i concluded the at the point of impact there is a red and blue glove hitting mannys face, therefore manny didnt catch it, he may well have caught some of it but still Floyd punch clearly, clearly landed!

Im curious of people's critical eye and knowledge of punch flow.

At first (Or second, or third, or hundredth) look, it seems as if Floyd made Pac miss 8 shots. but if you inspect the 6th shot thrown from Pacquiao, it does indeed appear to me to have made contact on Floyd's head. Don't count the feint. 6th shot. Its a left uppercut. This is why, it seems to me Pac made an attempt to double up that uppercut. Based on the posture of Pac he made contact with that shot. Additionally, If you understand punch flow and the way Pac throws, he would have just thrown some right handed punch after the left because the torqueing of his body from right to left generates more leverage. However, because he had success, he attempted a second left uppercut to replicate that same success, to which Floyd went from his original ducking position all the way back to a fade back to avoid another contact.

That exchange was even, possibly. One left uppercut from Pac, and one right hand from Floyd

there is no telling how clean that shot is. it could have ate up the side of Floyd's head and he just ate it and pretended it didn't happen... like he does.

Even if that landed, it's nowhere near as clean or effective as the right hand, losing the exchange in the process. It's also still an excellent example of great defense.

Too bad the fight didn't happen in slow motion, Pacquiao might have been able to land more than 3 or 4 meaningful punches in the whole fight if Floyd had been sitting still.

Once again, it was an easy fight to score, you can break it down frame by fame all you want, it's not going to change the scores.
