Cotto is brain damaged and his reflexes are shot. Cotto beat a crippled old man gimpy kenned Sergio. Cotto wasn't a factor at 154lbs. geale can win this fight if the Aussie could fight smart and box and move against the slow small Cotto.
Problem for geale is that Aussies always fight macho and fight dumb and usually always lose. Cotto is not that good.

This is a fight were we see what Cotto REALLY has left in the tank, the Martinez fight was a gimme, Geale wants this bad and is a natural fit middleweight. If Cotto does well you have to assume he still has something left in the tank.

His training camp and preparation (or lack thereof) was the biggest reason why he lost to Trout. No way Cotto with Roach loses to Trout. If he weren't looking for just big fights, I have no doubts he rematch and knockout Trout today.

You act as if Cotto got knocked out by Trout. It was a fairly close fight considering Cotto admitted to not being in his best shape for the Trout fight. Mind you, Trout is a big dude in comparison to Cotto. Cotto's biggest liability is his height/reach when he fights guys in the MW division. Guys like Trout who have good boxing ability, can pose problems for the stout Cotto.
