Cotto is going to destroy Gaele, whip Canelo, then RETIRE.

Cotto gave Floyd a run for his money...Canelo didn't do shi.t but hit the cameraman in round 11.

"Cotto is a better fighter than Canelo Alvarez"...Floyd Mayweather.

I feel that if Geale makes it a tough fight at all, Cotto will get **** on heavily.

I don't knock Geale for trying and getting paid. I hope he means what he says and doesn't go in there to lay down.

The more I think about it, the more and more I lean towards this being like a 50/50 fight. I was pretty stunned at the betting odds. I was expecting cotto be a closer favorite, like 3 or 4 to 1 and right now he's -625 I think on Bovada.

I think this will be a close fight. It'll be just like Cotto to drop a decision and **** it all up (Canleo, GGG)

If Geale wins does he send the belt to GGG the next day?
If Cotto wins does he sign for Canelo or GGG? (GGG the mandatory)
Either way its nice to have Floyd & Wlad out of the picture!

I wonder if Alvarez will be ringside at Barclays. Cotto might fall victim to the read head curse as in the Trout fight.

His training camp and preparation (or lack thereof) was the biggest reason why he lost to Trout. No way Cotto with Roach loses to Trout. If he weren't looking for just big fights, I have no doubts he rematch and knockout Trout today.

I agree. They saw Martines beat Pavlik and Chavez Jr and thought he was some phenom or something. I said from day one, Cotto is NOT Chavez Jr.

                      Martinez learned the hard way.

After Trout loss, I don't see Cotto taking anyone lightly ever again.
