I have seen a lot of terrible blog posts by this writer, but this blog post is by far the worst I have ever seen. He should have called this series he is writing the "I Hate Mayweather" series because that is all it is. He talked about the media and Mayweather. He talked about Mayweather's history of abusing women (history as in 2012) and the fact that many journalists were denied credentials, including himself.
He didn't say a word about Pacquaio or his history with the media. He didn't say a word about Pacquaio's womanizing, his ******** problem, his drinking issues, or his poor money management. This is a big crock of s....t!
I don't blame Mayweather for denying Hauser credentials for the fight. Why would he give credentials to a guy who will not say a single positive word about what Floyd does in the ring, but will talk about bad things he did outside of the ring years earlier while at the same time pretending like Pacquaio is a saint? :*******:Comment

This is a boxing site so what or why post an article like this? Mr. Hauser recently posted an article called The Big Lie which glossed over the fact that someone in Pacaquios camp lied on an acknowledgment form. There was no "outright" indictment of the camp for the "perceived" negligence but there were tepid excuses (the preflight doctors should have asked more questions about the medications he was taking) as to why the injury wasn't disclosed or to cast the blame on someone else. The bias is clear in Mr. Hauser's article . . . Yes Mr. Mayweather isn't a very good person for his past crimes BUT did that have anything to do w/ the recent record setting ppv event? What is Boxingscene's purpose of posting such a negative article of one of the biggest stars of the sport it is promoting? If I want to read or see a bias socially conscious article about anything I will watch the fox network.
the writer is bias to a fault, sure....but what we can get from it is at least a reminder of how boxing is now on a very sad state or situation....
yes, you got the highest ppv ever...but ppvs are "before" the fight...meaning you have a lot of buyers.....but "after" the fight meaning what happened or did not happen in the fight defines what boxing is...Comment

people talk about the writers bias
but it's just amazing how many here are down playing or worse denying Floyd's domestic violence issues.
"Well if you're gonna talk about Floyd smacking around women the least you could do is mention Manny's womanizing and drinking."

Over the last few years, a large number of fighters have received lengthy jail sentences for everything ranging from drug offences to murder.
Over the last century, hundreds of fighters have committed serious, sometimes federal, offences..... often incurring large prison sentences.
Mayweather, and guys like the vilified superman Stevenson, dont even rate.
Mayweather is likely #1002 on the list of boxing bad-boys, and Stevenson is likely #1001.
So I find it amusing to see that Hauser has taken time out of his busy day to focus solely on #1002..... just because he is upset about what happened to #48Comment
