Margarito didn't even have any credible win at 154. Shoot, he wasn't even ranked at 154, plus Margarito was far from him former self especially with out his bricks. Margarito was just a walking feather fisted chin that was already cracked years ago. Canelo at least was young and had power and had come off a good win. Margarito was coming off a beat down, a year suspencion, and a sup par performance against a nobody. The Margarito win was a scam of a fight.

I thought Margarito used against Cotto too. A guy throwing 100 punches a round with an iron chin and comes forward is a much tougher fight for Floyd that what Canelo does. And, Margarito is bigger, taller and longer than Canelo albeit less power, he's also more reckless. All things added up, it's a much tougher fight for Floyd than Canelo will ever be.
