really ironic too because when I saw Wlad fight Larry Donald a few years ago, and then looked at a few of Vitalis fights, I clearly figured Wlad was the better of the two.(i was wrong)

If Wladimir signs up with DK then he wins, nobody likes Bird and DK is probably looking for a replacement.
If Rahman wins vs. Vitaliy then I'll admit that your crack is something special.

this would be the perfect fight for Wlad to get back on track. Bryd doesn't have any pop and his style is taylor made for Wlad. Unfortunately, the Wlad frenzy on these boards after Wlads knockout victory would be unbearable

Great news if it's true, wonderful, wonderful news if it's true. If you want something from King you have to give up something of your own as well. A couple of fights promoted by King is worth realizing a dream. Klitschko's probably have all the money they need from endorsments, of Hugo, Boss, and FILA, not to mention, there own promotion company. Now it's about redemption, and bringing the dream to a next level.

I dunno, I think Wlad would have the psychological advatage over Byrd from the first fight. Did you forget Wlad punished and dropped Byrd twice before cruising to an easy UD? He would definately have the psycholigical advantage, and Byrd might be a little scared to repeat on what happened the first time.

not necessarily, deep down, he might not think he's the same Wladdy, then his advantage is lost. he might think he believe he can still beat Byrd, but we'll find out when they get in the ring if he believes in himself or he's trying to keep the wolf from the door

about DK.. well, this fight does seem somewhat possible if DK wins no matter the situation. I think that DK would only get options on WK, that will only last for a set amount of time!? So WK wouldn't be trading promoters, but would be making cash for DK in his future fights (correct me if I'm wrong here)... PLUS, this might help WK to not get starched in his first title defense if he's a champ making money for DK.. get the mob on WK's side..

about the fight byrd vs WK... they are both true fighters, both technical geniuses, so a great fight would be expected. The only times that I've seen WK lose, is when it gets into a brawl, a street-fight and he gets caught hard on the chin.. Byrd doesn't have that power, plus byrd is a clean tactician, so it will be a chess match, that will result in WK taking the technical edge and winning a paced UD.
