    German-based Z! Promotions, headed by the Zastrow brother, Alexander and Boris, won purse bids today in Rome for the right to stage the fight for the vacant EBU heavyweight title between Erkan Teper (14-0, 9KOs) and David Price (19-2, 16KOs).

    Z! bid 252,500 Euro while Sauerland Promotion bid 231,979,55 Euro. The purse split is 50-50.

    When and where Teper vs Price will be staged will be announced soon.

            I'm hoping he goes through with it. It's a nice enough payday.

              Well price would have liked to have home advantage and had the judges on his side, diffrent story now, i think he loses anyway

                  I don't see Price taking the fight, we'll get a Zumbano type opponent for his June defence then they'll sweep the Teper away like it was never an option before attempting to put Price vs Joshua on PPV on one of those joke Hearn cards.

                    It makes absolutely no sense for either not to take the fight! If price can't beat teper then he is never going to get anywhere near a world title. Whoever wins this is pretty close to a title shot or a potential eliminator. I can't see price not taking the fight.
