should 3G's next move be to move up..

The answer is clearly yes imo..Nobody at 160lb wants a part of this guy,and he is wasting time at this weight imo..He needs to move up to 168lb and mix it up with Froch and Ward..What are some thoughts about this??

Probably not...There's no guarantee that anyone at 168 wants a piece of him either.

He's the mandatory for Cotto's title so why would he? He's either going to force that fight or take step aside money and force a fight with the winner of Cotto-Canelo.

I just hope he fights someone decent in the interim unlike the bums we've become accustomed to

He needs to make the best fight possible wherever that may be.

he's got a canelo fight looming for 2016, which would net him a bigger pay-day than against ward and would surely be a more exciting fight. in the meantime it seems that andy lee, david lemieux/n'dam n'jikam and erislandy lara are all within the realm of possibility, although i guess he'd be lucky to get all three of them. he should just focus on unifying the titles and see where things stand this time next year; if he's still being avoided by the other "champions" at that time, then he will have to cut his losses and move up.

This right here. Dude is close to landing a big money fight. No point in moving up right now.

For what? He can make weight comfortably, it's not like he's fighting at a catchweight of 164 and weighing in at 175 fight night.
