Would he survive the full 12? Personally I don't think so, but I think it would be a hell of a fight, one that Canelo would test GGG like no other.
Actually I think the Canelo/GGG fight would be epic. i'm with you in that I think GGG would just wear him down, but the red headed monster certainly has a chance in my book.

Make the damn Fight! Haymon let Lara go over to HBO before to fight Vanes Martyrosian so I'm sure if that is the fight Lara wants, Haymon will make sure he gets a good Payday for it and step aside and let him go fight on HBO.

You gotta love today's immediate gratification nation. It's all me, me, me - give me what I want now. How about no? How about he solidifies his standing as a Middleweight Champ first by unifying the titles, on top of his already 15 title defenses. Then he can move up. Sound good? In the mean time, Ward can take his P4P skills and move up to 175 already. After all, he is the one who supposedly doesn't rely on size or strength like GGG, but pure skills.
Immediate satsifaction? GGG has been on HBO like 5 times, but fought 10 times in 2 or 3 years and he's fought nothing but MW's minus Rosado. He's beaten every MW out there and now he wants to fight the guys moving UP to MW. I get he wants money, I want to see him challenge himself. My satisfaction of mismatches has been met, I don't need to see more.

          Another KO inside 10 rds...

....Angulo connected numerous times. Alvarez can't cut off the ring on anybody....I'll leave it to your imagination. Don't any body make me puke by saying Lara will dominate. I think we are all a little smarter than that.

            Ridiculous.

And where did Team GGG say he has to first fight at 160? They just said he needs to come up to 160 for the fight, that they aren't going down.

And yes, thats how fights are made. They are first considered, and then a decision is made. Unless you think fighters just blindly sign their names on blank sheets?

You're just afraid GGG would end Cotto. And you are right to be afraid. Let Cotto vacate his belt, and retire. GGG is the ruler of MW. No one changes that.
"Lara needs to MOVE UP to 160 to be CONSIDERED"-Loeffer

You seriously don't understand the basic concept of what that is saying. That doesn't change the fact Lara has to move up to 160 to be considered. There could even be a possibility that they wont fight him even at 160 since they used that key word "CONSIDERED".

oh here we go with the "you just dont want him to fight cotto doe"

            Go learn some proper english.

Also, he's said in interviews and on twitter that he wants it so that's as good as a signed contract lol.
No. People would whine that Lara was too small.

He gotta go up to 160 n sheeeeit so's he be considered a opponet fo' GG!

What other language do you want?
Rosado didn't have to fight at 160 to get a shot at GGG. Lara is a bigger name than Rosado imo. So why would Lara have to move to 160 to be "considered" for the fight? They can't "consider" him for the fight even tho he's at 154, just like Rosado was?

Canelo is still a JMW apparently. He doesn't need consideration either.

That doesn't mean **** about Lara, just showing GGG only cares about the paper, not the belt. He's your regular fighter, that pisses people off for some reason.

I'll rephrase it (since you are one of the few respectful posters here who just didn't lash out with butt hurt lol)

They said that Lara has to move up to 160 to be considered.

Rosado was fighting at 154 yet he was considered for the fight.
