Comments Thread For: Roy Jones Jr: A lot of Wear and Tear on Tim Bradley

Unbeaten Jessie Vargas, and his trainer Roy Jones Jr., are looking to test the physical resolve of former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley. The two fighters will collide on June 27 at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The Southern California natives' fight will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing, beginning at 9:45 p.m. ET/PT.

Bradley (31-1-1, 12 KOs) wants to make a statement after going to a draw with Diego Chaves in December. And Vargas wants to add Bradley's name to his record to make himself a contender for the money fights at welterweight. Vargas (26-0, 9 KOs) holds the WBA 'regular' title at 140-pounds.

Not only does this have stinker written all over it, it has debatable decision written all over it to. Will avoid watching this like the plague.

The most dissappointing thing about this fight is its for a title. I wish the WBO wouldve made Rios vs Marquez for the vacant title.

bradley is limited at WW he was very good at junior welter, that fight with provo took something that he will never gain back, and like he says he does not take care of his body so he will be leaving the sport after about 3 more fights
