Why should he do something else?

He also calls Canelo Alvarez... why? because Alvarez has fought in the MW division in his last three fights and would be an amazing fight for the fans. It would be a huge PPV event. Canelo is not a 154 anymore.

People want him to fight Ward now? why now and not later? the guy has all the right in the world to be the lineal champion at his actual division at this moment. Why don't you send Ward to fight Kovalev at 175lb? after all he is an inch taller than Kovalev...

Fighting Ward now is a risk, and it would be for what? two millions? when he can get ten millions or more by fighting Cotto or Alvarez?

He has all the right in the world to call out the people at his division. Once he's the lineal champion and cleans out the 160 division, he can move to 168 if he wants, and fight Ward or anyone, IF he wants to. He should not be forced to do that. He is not forcing anyone to fight him at 160, Cotto is the 160 champ and Alvarez is already fighting at 160 weight.

So all the people saying GGG is ducking Ward. NO, hell, NO!!! he's not!! he doesn't have to fight Ward just because you want. He said that the only person he would fight at 154 is mayweather, but because it would mean more than 10 millions to him probably. Ward would not be even close to that. He should not move a weight class at the moment if he wants to clean his division first.

Please stop that GGG is ducking Ward nonsense.
Mayweather isn't 160, Canelo isn't 160 (fighting at 155 allows Canelo to avoid paying title sanctioning fees for interim/special titles offered up by WBC/WBA, not fight Andrade(WBO) or K9(IBF), and still be a marketable championship-level fighter), and if we're honest Cotto isn't a 160 fighter either (Cotto will likely vacate the belt with/for the Canelo fight, so he gets a bit of a pass there).

Unless something drastic has changed over the last 16 months, Andre Ward will walk into the ring within 5 pounds of what Golovkin walked into the ring for the Monroe fight at.

why would Golovkin be so hung up on a guy who walks into the ring on fight night within five pounds of his weight?

He's ducking the #2 P4P who fights whenever he feels like it, determine the number of tuneups, date, purses, venue, you name it. He doesn't give a crap what you do in the meantime. Hang yourself or something, doe.

I am of the belief GGG could **** in Maxi's mouth and he would convince himself that it was mouthwash as he gargled. I can't stand "fans" who see their fighters as infallible. It's ok to criticize your favorites folks.

in theory of course ur right but u have to ignore so much ya of course he can be the mule chasing the carrot over his head but loughler cant seem to lock up any fights whose to blame is another story entirely. he can keep chasing the belts at 160 but where is that getting him? fighting a ww champ. he can keep playing that game or instead of when he cant find a fight going down he could look up a division. lets be honest ggg and canelo seem be only fighters not willing take the chances brook khan and ward are taking
