GGG is doing things right. He is calling 160 people, that's his division.

GGG is doing things right. He is calling 160 people, that's his division.

GGG is the WBA and IBO 160 champion. Other 160 champions are Miguel Cotto (WBC) and Andy Lee (WBO). He is absolutely right at calling Miguel Cotto since he holds the most prestigious world title of the division.
Why should he do something else?

He also calls Canelo Alvarez... why? because Alvarez has fought in the MW division in his last three fights and would be an amazing fight for the fans. It would be a huge PPV event. Canelo is not a 154 anymore.

People want him to fight Ward now? why now and not later? the guy has all the right in the world to be the lineal champion at his actual division at this moment. Why don't you send Ward to fight Kovalev at 175lb? after all he is an inch taller than Kovalev...

Fighting Ward now is a risk, and it would be for what? two millions? when he can get ten millions or more by fighting Cotto or Alvarez?

He has all the right in the world to call out the people at his division. Once he's the lineal champion and cleans out the 160 division, he can move to 168 if he wants, and fight Ward or anyone, IF he wants to. He should not be forced to do that. He is not forcing anyone to fight him at 160, Cotto is the 160 champ and Alvarez is already fighting at 160 weight.

So all the people saying GGG is ducking Ward. NO, hell, NO!!! he's not!! he doesn't have to fight Ward just because you want. He said that the only person he would fight at 154 is mayweather, but because it would mean more than 10 millions to him probably. Ward would not be even close to that. He should not move a weight class at the moment if he wants to clean his division first.

Please stop that GGG is ducking Ward nonsense.

You don't understand, people come to Ward not the other way around, he is a huge PPV star and the obvious A-side in any fight. I thought everyone knew this.

He has the right to call them out and ask for unifications but what does that mean in reality?

        Cotto will never fight him
Canelo wont fight him for at least a couple years
Lee will take other fights that pay just as well/more
Lemeiux is being saved for Canelo

What smaller fighters? Cotto the MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION and Canelo, the master of the 155 division who rehydrates to over 170 on fight night?

I can see Canelo fighting GGG in 2016.

Lee was scheduled to fight Golovkin last year when GGG's dad died, so he's proven he's willing to fight. HBO/Golovkin need to give him a big offer because you're right he can get good offers elsewhere.

Lemieux and N'dam are unknowns. N'dam turned down mandatory fights with Golovkin twice already and last asked about it Lemieux seemed to shy away from the thought of fighting Golovkin if I remember correctly, talking about plenty of other options or something like that.
