That **** absolutely drove me nuts from Kellerman. Margarito was landing half the punches he was in the first fight, and he didn't land a single one of his bread-and-butter combinations on Cotto while Cotto was on the ropes. Diaz was the perfect trainer for Cotto in the fight.

Big difference was the injury to the nose in the first fight. The same injury that caused Izzy to quit in just 3 rounds...Cotto fought on til round 11 when he was more gassed than hurt. Smothered, drinking his own blood for 9 rounds etc.

Rematch, Cotto was not there to be caught with slick uppercuts, nor was he sliding away with his hands on his sides like he did in the first fight and then of course... Plaster.

You're right except for the plaster part. Cotto wouldn't be boxing right now if that was the case and he would of had much more severe injuries. I know your thinking isn't going to change because you're a boxer fan(Cotto/PR) but don't let love for a boxer cloud your thinking.

I actually used to like cotto and went for him in the first fight

loss like 80 bucks in a bet too

and until recently his fans and his diva ways are the reason why I started disliking him now.

I'm not defending Marg and didn't wanna make this crap into a cotto vs marg thread
