what about a prime Willaims? (before the brutal ko)

I think if GGG doesn't take Marg early he might have a problem cause once he got going he was like a machine.

he had an atg chin and would make it a dog fight which GGG seems to not be comfortable with. I think he would and it would be a hell of a fight but even upset gg. what do you think?
GGG would destroy the no defense, slow, lighting hitting walking chin. Mosley who is much smaller and no where near a puncher GGG is, cracked that TJ chin. Am sorry but Margarito with bricks wouldn't even be competative.

Margarito and prime don't belong in the same sentence.

I was a big Margarito fan, but I wouldn't even pick him to beat Willie Monroe at 160. He just wasn't a middleweight. Golovkin would beat him as soon as he wanted to.

To me, prime means putting together a string of solid wins and Marg has never executed that. He beat Cotto but then got KO'd by a 37 year old Mosley in his next fight, his career went down the toilet after that.

Probably not very much. Margarito would be a small middleweight. He just isn't dynamic even in the loosest of definitions. I mean if there is one thing we know it's that GGG's objective is to hit you until you are on your back and Margarito is a come forward there to hit kind of guy. His style benefits himself when he is fighting naturally smaller guys. But with someone who is trying to KO him and chop him down that's GGG's size, I think he'd be ****ed. A big brawler who plants his feet and is much bigger would hurt Tony real bad

Margo's greatest asset was his size at 147..at 154 he did jack sh1`t..at 160 he is a d class bum

To be honest I don't see him past round 1.

His defense is to block punches with his face with that freak chin. But 160 hits hard enough
