He didn't fight round 3 like he did rounds 1&2 because we was winded (he appeared to be in not that great of shape) . let's not forget that humans beings ALL have physical thresholds and limitations . He probably had punched himself out in the first 2 rounds and HAD to take round 3 off to recover . You've probably watched too many Batman and Superman movies that have indoctrinated u and have u believing that a White mans power doesn't wane !

I think GGG decided to down the pace after round 2 due to being arm weary and realizing that Monroe was not going to be easy to get out of there early.
He took a little rest. Monroe then upped his pace for a couple rounds, won one of them. Then GGG started coming on again.
Whenever GGG decided to put punches together in that fight, he had Monroe teetering and tottering all over the place.

It's going to take someone with a sensible gameplan, strength and one heck of an inside game to beat Golovkin.
Last Saturday's fight reminded me of Tszyu-Phillips. Phillips had the power, skills and inside game to work Tszyu over. He was also able to survive one hell of an onslaught. But by pounding the body consistently he finally broke a HOF'er in his prime.
GGG was stunned in the second, I believe, and definitely felt a few more punches (particularly to the body). But like Tszyu he's got insane belief in his strength, power and skills. Thus far it's working very well for him.
