    GGG vs Chris Eubank

Does GGG have the chin and skills to deal with a world class middle weight?

Would Eubank be simply to much?

I personally have Eubank putting GGG asleep with a right hand

    Lets hear what you think

Eubanks could well beat him. He didnt have the greatest defence but he had an iron chin, very good power and a tonne of heart mixed in with some decent speed and boxing skill.

I think Chris Eubank would have a pretty good size advantage too.

GGG's body punching is a worry though. Eubank could be hurt there.

I think Eubank's control of distance would give GGG fits. Eubank's movement was brilliant.

GGG has huge problems against absolute stiffs that fight small. Eubank was a master of fighting small.

People will say Eubank struggled with so and so but the reality is whoever he struggled with was probably a cut or two above the cans this guys fighting.

He is going to come in as always hunched over winging power shots - its the same thing repeated in every fight, same old. Same combinations, you name it.
Eubank would fight small and rip the **** out of him with uppercuts and left hooks.
He'd beat this guy and his entire resume senseless without breaking a sweat.

He is only effective when he has a guy trapped on the ropes. Take center ring and show him angles and he looks lost. He is a bully who can only operate coming forward. Take that away from him, don't allow him full leverage and he isn't half the fighter nor puncher.

He is one dimensional. I'm just amazed people can't see it. They're blinded by his power.

''Oh he has legit skills'' and all this. What skills man? A 3 minute loop video ''the lost art of shuffling?'' Reallllly?

His defense consists of pulling back straight back with his chin tucked behind his shoulder. That is it.
As soon as he fights a legit boxer he'll get exposed. He wouldn't even beat DeGale, not a chance.

If you're going up a weight class to find someone to beat him, I think that's acknowledging his quality. Name someone 160 and below who beats him.

Its admitting that his division is beyond rubbish. There is nothing there at all. Its so bad that the whole world scene is truthfully Euro level operators and domestic level fighters.

I mention Lara there is excuses about networks. Its like every threat to this guy his team/fans have covered with something or other.
Why is it always down with him when others have to move up to prove their greatness?

There is nothing at MW, the only fighter who might have a chance is David LeMule and that is a slim punchers chance at best. Is it how good he is, how bad the division stinks or a combination of the two? The man is what 33? He has already wasted umpteen years of his prime fighting dead men.

He is 33, he had 450 amateur fights or something, he doesn't have a lasting style. He needs to move up. If he was half as good as advertised he would of a long time ago IMO

You really think Lara beats him? They've said they're open to the Lara fight.

I don't think Lara beats him. The guy struggled with Vanes and Angulo.

I think Lemieux, Quillin and Lee have a puncher's chance, their problem is Golovkin has superior punch resistance so he should win the exchanges but you never know.

Ievgen Khytrov seems to have the chin and a big punch. He'll maybe be the best bet in a year or so.

Golovkin has no business moving up imo, the only guy he should move up for is Froch because he leaves his chin exposed. The rest would be a physical struggle for not much financial compensation.

GGG is the only one I from todays Middleweights that I would pick to compete with Eubank/Benn/Watson. The worst thing is they werent even the top middleweights of their era with Toney, Nunn, Mccallum etc around.

I know I sound like I'm being nostalgic, but the MW division is very weak at the moment.

Probably not, I'd favour GGG but don't think it would be an easy fight and I don't think his team has any interest in it because they feel that Lara will make him look very bad and that whole aura of invincibility will be gone.
I think LeMule has the best chance as he is very strong and would try push him back and get in his grill. Lee gets KTFO in a round or two and Quillin doesn't last much longer, he has nothing to keep GGG honest IMO.
Way too patient, no volume or killer instinct and looks horrendous when pressured, scared in fact.
I think he is easily the best at MW but it just such a poor division.
Its too the stage that I wouldn't be surprised if say a Eubank Jr won a world title.
Christ Jermain Taylor just won one and before that Sam Soliman, like wow. I seriously think Soliman might just be the worst world champion in the sports history.

I haven't seen much of Khrytov at all but pretty sure I remember he got badly hurt shortly after his debut. I know he has a huge amateur background, will have to check him out.

I'm not saying he is a complete hypejob or anything of the sort just think his team are doing a very good job at protecting him and it all seems a bit too convenient to me.
