Already planning on doing it in about a year, Kathy Duva confirmed they had talks with Roc Nation about Ward vs Kovalev in a year.

However if Mayweather can bounce back and forth between 147 and 154 then why can't Ward bounce between 2 Divisions and try to dominate Both? I think Ward will do the same thing I think he will remain KING at 168 and fight some of the Light Heavyweights

Nothing unexpected here. Anybody that watched Gennady last Sat without a pair of GGG footie pajamas on knows Ward would **** him. GGG's best career move would be to win over the most delusional fanbase in sports history, the P@ct@rd Nation. Have yhem b1tch n moan that Floyd retired to duck him. And hope Floyd goes broke and is forced to come back and fight him in a big city money match.

How is that delusional? All Loefler is doing is stating why the fight won't happen yet. Because BOTH fighters would want paying well for it.

        And why shouldn't they?

If Floyd and Manny can share $200million for boring everybody to death, why should Andre and GGG fight each other for peanuts right now instead of waiting maybe another 12/18 months and getting what they would both deserve for a fight as important as this?
Because Ward and GGG will never reach the level of Floyd and Manny. And probably need a fight with each other to approch being something resembling crossovers stars. Even then, neither likely will crossover.

Andre Ward already beat Froch in very wide decision. It was not even close. The problem here is GGG and his team, so desperate for $$$ that they keep calling out a guy who comes from 130 pounds and fight at 146 like Maywether, and keep calling out a guy who start a 140 and fight at most 155 like Cotto, and Canelo. All of them from lower division. I know you are going to bring the Cotto MW champion. He just beat a small MW like Martinez who came from 154. If GGG wants something he needs to wait for Lemiux and Quilling and then move and face Ward, Froch, Grooves, Chavez jr, Dirrel, Abraham. Also there is Bute, Pascal and Kovalev who they can agree a 170 pound catch weight. That's they same thing as making Maywether or Cotto fight GGG

Why doesn't GGG sacrifice the money for this fight just to get a big name under his belt?

I would love to see this fight but I would like to see Ward create some buzz by beating a high profile opponent first in order to hype the matchup. Let him take his tuneup bout then fight someone noteworthy before taking on GGG.

I see many GGG haters asking why doesn't GGG move up to 168 to face Ward but aren't asking Ward to move up to 175 to face Kovalev.

That's cause they know ward would be permanently disfigured if he dared to fight krusher.

I hate to break it to you, but no one will EVER reach the level of Floyd and Manny when it comes to PPV. They were an aberration and it will never be repeated. At least not in our lifetimes. If someone is waiting for that to happen, they will have a very long and disappointing wait.

First of all, Ward is not a big name and has not been a big name in boxing for a number of years now. Ward has done nothing in the last four years to deserve a higher payday than GGG when and if they ever do fight each other so should GGG be the one to sacrifice? GGG has had ELEVEN fights in the time Ward has had TWO. Maybe GGG should fight on BET against Ward because there sure isn't enough money there for a PPV or even a HBO main event card.

This guy is a joke and pure hype. I'll fight anyone from 154-168 except going down to 154 to fight Canelo or the top guys at 168 lol!

                      GGG will duck Ward forever

Not Enough Money For Andre Ward

                      Translation:

I want to keep my KO ratio going but if I fight someone my own size who is more talented, I will lose so I will call out smaller fighter who if they were my own size would outbox me but because of my size advantage I will steamroll them.

I will follow the Bernard Hopkin M.O...make a smaller fighter move up in weight and fight him on PPV.

Ward will crush this man but GGG fans will attack those who points this out.
