If Ward is so desperate for GGG why doesn't he drop to 160 for the challenge ?

This fight can be big since Ward is starting to be looked at as a villain.
Since December 2011 Ward has fought TWICE against drained SMWs coming down to meet him. TWICE!

Since December 2011, Golovkin has fought ELEVEN TIMES! ELEVEN!!!

If there is anyone who needs to get some fights in to build up his name and make this fight marketable so that people want to pay to see it, it is not GGG. And fighting Paul Smith is not the way to go about it.

Are you putting up the money? If not, where is it coming from? I am curious about your inside information, I need enlightenment.

But please tell us more about not enough money in Andre Ward.
In Monroe there's enough money but not in Ward?
I don't demand Golovkin to fight Ward at least not now in this situation I don't but hs promoter and Abel Sanchez need to stfu because every time they talk they think that they are the smart guys who can do the talking instead of their fighters but in reality they're only harmful to Golovkin's reputation.
I agree that Abel Sanchez should stfu sometimes, he says things that make Golovkin look bad. Sanchez and even Loeffler should think before they say anything because they are just putting Golovkin in situations like this.

But didn't Ward and Hunter say Ward will move up to Light Heavyweight after the Super Six and that he'll be Heavyweight Champion by the age of 32?

He had promotional issues dude. He wasn't sidelined by choice. Ward built his name up by winning the Super 6 and cleaning out his division. GGG has yet to do that.

He has Jay Z in his corner now who knows a thing or two about promotion. Let the process play out.

If I was going to take a sure L (most likely looking horrendously bad) I would want to get paid out the ass also, it does only make sense.

Promotional issues that he brought on himself. Do not try to make it anything other than that. Super 6 was 4 YEARS AGO. Get over it. That's like saying your team won the Superbowl four years ago but has not made the post season since. It's nothing to brag about.

If Jay Z knew so much about promotion, he would not have Ward fighting Paul Smith on BET. Not that Jay Z has a damn thing to do with the boxing operations to begin with.

And there you have it. Just like anybody else the risk is too great so they have to get paid handsomely.
