I sorta expected to see this article on the anniversary of the fight, not 2 weeks after

I liked this article and I know, all the Floydiots will be offended that their idol, who writes them their welfare checks, is being criticised but the article is not just about the fight as a sporting contest but the grander scheme of things. It's pretty obvious, having watch the fight with a lot of friends who didn't really watch boxing, that an event like this, has left such a bad taste in the mouths of both casual boxing fans and serious boxing fans.

The reality is simple, most of us who know boxing, had expected Floyd to win and we all knew that Pacquiao was years past his best. What made matters worse was that the fact that Pacquiao realised he was simply here for the pay day and that he didn't want to win. The pre-fight bravado and the post-fight excuses are a terrible end to a glittering career.

I wouldn't be surprised if Thomas had a conspiracy room complete with thumb tacks and string connecting pictures and articles about Al Haymon. C'mon Thomas, connect the dots for us!

The fans of #48, including Thomas Hauser, absolutely refuse to let it go.

Eventually, after he retires, I expect to start seeing threads and blog posts saying that Mayweather is afraid to fight #48 in a rematch. The same people who claim that Mayweather was scared to fight $48, the fight was boring, that Mayweather ran, that #48 won and #48 lost because of a fake shoulder injury, will start claiming that Mayweather is afraid to rematch #48.

It is all a big crock of s....t!

This is nonsense! Thomas Hauser does not have a conspiracy room with thumbtacks and strings leading to and from Al Haymon!

He only has a conspiracy board that he keeps on the wall beside his desk!!!!!

Another hatchet job on Floyd by Thomas Hauser. He doesn't even pretend to be objective anymore.

Actually JR LOST the FIGHT, 7 to 5.

I have no crow to eat. too bad mang.

I would love to hear why you think Mayweather ran like a chicken from Pac and knowing that Pac had bad problems with the right hand and in front of the WORLD and GOD was seen pulling on his right arm hoping to hurt it further and WHY did JR get nailed with the Left in the 4th and 6th having to go to the ropes and why his daddy said he was losing in those middle rounds, and why he was chicken running all nite long when he should have been Knocking PAC OUT ?????

GGG vs Jr @ 160 , GGG can catch a chicken

Pacquiao got beat. Accept it. Mayweather landed 67 more punches on Pacquiao in the fight.

Well, since I CAN READ, I am looking forward to reading this series hoping he keeps it fair and exposes all positives and negatives from both teams...
