Now all styles make the boxing world go round, but you hear ignorant stuff towards master boxers/slicksters: cowards, pu55ies, runners, this ain't marathon (be a stationary target), go toe to toe, save the hugging for mother's day. So, liking guys who don't get hit much makes us cowards or not "manly"?
Not always the case, but a possible explanation is that unlike non-combat sports most people haven't participated in boxing, so can't appreciate the skill aspect or the mastery that someone like Rigondeaux shows us. So, why don't the same lot go ahead and watch may be like kickboxing? A real war of attrition and admittedly more exciting than boxing instead of always whining about guys like Lara and of course Mayweather?
Oh and if you're saying your opponent ran that's another way of saying you can't close the distance or good at cutting off the ring.
