Thurman and Khan I think would have to be his toughest available options. If he picked Thurman that would be a huge statement to me as far as his legacy goes.

Khan is great offensively but he still has that 'damaged goods' sense about him. We're well past the point of Khan getting dusted by anyone and feeling too shocked about it.

Starting to think a Cotto rematch is more and more unlikely just because after Pacquiao they probably want the smoothest negotiations possible.

I agree with you in principle, but it likely comes down to style.

Folks are thinking that Khans length/speed, along with technique, will crack the MayVinci code, or at least give it some problems.

It is a sign of desperation I guess, because those guys are running with a perception and glossing over the obvious.....

* the question marks over him at 140, dont get better 1 division higher

* speed alone will not beat Mayweather, you need a very high RingIQ and technical understanding of the game

To me, it comes down to their opponents.

A genuine threat to Mayweather will be giving it to everybody else.
