if dropping a few pounds will get alvarez into the ring sooner rather than later they should go for it. 154 lbs is too much - i doubt they could even healthily make that for mayweather - but 157 lbs seems doable

Man this is why I love GGG....but I can't be associated with some his other fans. You can't choose to have your cake and eat it too, not in this day and age. You can't say you'll move up to 168 for Chavez but not for Ward and in that same light say you'll go to 154 for Floyd but not for Canelo. THAT'S CALLED AN EXCUSE. Those who defend it make me sick. I rather have the fight at 160 myself but that's to be negotiated between the two parties that has NOTHING to do with what you stated you would do.

Exactly lol Ward doesn't make financial sense but last time I checked he was a bigger draw than Monroe and Adama, and all of the other ggg opponents. And Lara they say is too boring? Lol so any fight that ggg has a real possibility to lose on paper his fans don't want him to fight when he does not have the size or skill advantage. Ward will eat ggg alive his inside fighting game is suspect! What happened to fighting at 168? Nobody wants to fight ggg? Lara just called him out lol

Canelo is the a-side and the one moving up in weight. This fight will be wherever the **** he wants it to be at.

Should it be at 160? Absolutely. But I fully expect Canelo to use his power to gain every advantage possible. Don't shoot the messenger but that's just the way it is.

The number 154 shouldn't exist to Team Golovkin for anyone if they don't want it brought up by anyone else. It opens up a pandoras box, and gives someone like Canelo ammunition to drag him down
