Floyd is a great fighter, one of the best of his time. But do not believe he is TBE not even close, he does not make my top 20 fighters of all time, but that should not take away from him that he is outstanding boxer. He does make my top 100.

Floyd is a great fighter don't get me wrong, but the only people who believe he's TBE are him and his crew. Heck his Uncle Roger will tell you himself that Ray Robinson is the best ever. People on this site call him TBE but that seems like more of a ploy to piss people off who hate him.

Floyd isn't the best ever. Just like Ali really wasn't The Greatest.
However it's not due to a failure to move up in weight. As others mentioned Mayweather has already done that multiple times, fighting and winning world championships at 130, 135, 140, 147, and 154.

Floyd's not the best ever, but I say he is in the top 20 ever, at the very least.
And these morons saying he needs to go through the weight classes must have took too many punches since Floyd started out at super featherweight.
I mean, I don't like the guy, but give credit where it is due. This moronic Radio Rahim douche doesn't even mention that in the article.

ALL of the ALL TIME GREATS did exactly as Mosley said, thus, May Jr the chickenrunner couldn't carry their JOCK STRAP , **IF YOU WANT TO GET TECNAL BOUT IT** !!!!!!!
Jr should test his little sack an go to 160 and face GGG. The only problem here is GGG can catch a shicken, hahahahaha

Floyd is a tremendous talent with a hall of fame resume. He is the best of his era without question. The Pacquiao fight put the exclamation point on his career. If you take the fighters he's beaten on his resume and then add Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito, and Kosta Tyzu to it, then he is possibly in the argument. Floyd has beaten the most marketable fighters of his era, but not necessarily the most dangerous guys of his era. Fighting Cotto, Mosley and De La Hoya a few years sooner would have helped as well. But its hard to compare a fighter that has 48 fights to a fighter with over a hundred like Robinson. Its hard to compare Floyd's record to Ali's, because Ali fought and beat every relevant fighter in his era. Its hard to compare Floyd to Leonard when Ray fought in such a tough era of boxing. So, Floyd is far from being the best ever, but hands down, he's a hall of famer and an all time great.

Calling Floyd the greatest fighter is like calling the Harlem Globetrotters the greatest Basketball team. Yeah Floyd is very good at keeping any fighting from happening, but when he engages he loses every time.

Oh please, ffs... It's fucking marketing. Can't believe that so many people seriously get offended by it and try to argue against it. It's marketing, it was invited because it sells, it's flamboyant, ****y and a constant question to ask from the likes of Mosley...
But btw this shows how good Floyd is. People argue against the whole TBE thing and don't laugh at it. That's already an achievement to be honest.
And I honestly don't care if Floyd thinks he is TBE or not. I personally don't think but he is a certified ATG so why he wouldn't have the confidence to call himself TBE on the level he is? I don't blame him tbh...
