Angulo is more relentless. GGG is a killer but Angulo gave Lara absolutely no room to move or work. Angulo was not a bad fighter in his prime. In fact when he gave Lara hell he got so much respect but now that he lost a few times everybody's treating him like a bum and it's pretty disrespectful.

Not to mention Lara is 10x the fighter of Monroe. He moves better, so much more talented and skilled not too mention he hits alot harder so he can actually get GGG's tespect. Monroe was shoulder rolling trying to be Floyd LMAO. Stop pretending it's the same fight.

Swarmers have always given pure powers more fits then boxer punchers because they don't have crazy boxer so they make up for it with volume which is why Maidana gave FLoyd more hell then Cotto. Angulo is a swarmer. GGG is an aggressive boxer puncher.

I would love for him to fight GGG instead though. So GGG could stop him and just to see the look Quillens face would be priceless. Andy Lee is a warrior though and it would be explosive while it last. I would be surprised if he dropped GGG either.
Why would Quillin get a rematch? He vacated the belt in the first place then he got a shot at winning it back, which he did not deserve, and he blew his chance by not making weight. Then they went on to a boring as watching paint dry fight with almost no action in which they threw fewer punches over 12 rounds than GGG threw last night in 6. What possible reason could there be for a rematch?

As for Lara... ONE...MORE...TIME!!! Lara is signed with Haymon and he cannot fight on HBO. GGG has an exclusive contract with HBO and cannot fight on PBC. The fight does not have the slightest chance of happening. Not today, not in three months not in three years. Forget about it. Not happening.

That version of Angulo was already showing signs of serious decline, he looked poor in that fight. It's not even that fight that I look to, I look at the Lara-Canelo fight as more relevant.

Lara stunk the hell out of that fight, he could not stand the body-shots and so ran for his life. It would be even worse for GGG, though Golovkin is far better than Canelo at cutting off the ring and would eventually catch up with Lara and knock him out. If Lara does somehow survive to 12 purely on the basis of a hugely negative performance, we will be told how Golovkin can't deal with movement and got schooled

I'd like to see this fight. Lara had a great amateur career and certainly poses more of a threat than Monroe.

If it's the best fight available for both it should be made.

Sure bests opponents like Delvin Rodriguez and Willie Monroe

Lara is tailor-made to make Golovkin look sensational but if ppl still want see, so be it. I like Golovkin's one-side beatings.

If Lara/Golovkin is remotely possible given the politics, then we should be demanding Golovkin/Quillin & Golovkin/Jacobs (after Danny has 1-2 more fights).
