I'd prefer to see Lara stay at 154 and beat Jermell Charlo and Andrade but if Lara wants to take on GGG at 160 let's do it make the fight happen. I don't care if he doesn't win...I just like the fact that he has no problem taking on anyone out there.

If you're a fan of Lara, you don't want him to fight GGG. It's a terrible career move. There are still plenty of fights for him to make at 154 which you demonstrated. If he wants to move up to 160 at least let the guy acclimate before he jumps into the ring with the best fighter at MW.

I love the fact that he's fearless and doesn't care about GGG's reputation and believes he can beat him....so if he wants to take on GGG win lose or draw more power to him.

I think Lara would loose...that being said I want to fking see this go down it would be a true good match up for GGG and we all know Lara ain't afraid of shiette he would fight anybody unlike these other guys pretending GGG doesn't exist.

Very good fight but the problem is Haymon. Does he let Lara fight on HBO? Will HBO do business with Haymon? Those are two big obstacles to get past.

Lara may well move better but if slow-footed Canelo can cut off the ring against Lara, cut him and land bodyshots, then the writing is on the wall.

Are you really still interested in that? Are people really that interested in the Lara fight? What in the world makes you think Golovkin won't knock him the **** out?

They really need to make that fight just to shut people up. I know Golovkin won't get credit from the people asking for it loudest, but there aren't many fights out there where people actually think Golovkin is in danger. He wouldn't be against Lara, but if people believe it, that's on them.

I want to see him he deals with Lara who moves constantly.
He'd easily corner him, eventually hurt him with something, and that would be it. It's so obvious. Golovkin is one of the best at cutting off the ring, and Lara doesn't move smart, he just moves. A hell of a lot worse fighters than Golovkin have cornered Lara consistently.

I really think hour underestimating Lara. I love GGG. What isn't there to like? He's exciting as ****. I just want this fight so Floyd fans stop with the "He hasn't fought anybody and will be school by the first decent boxer he faces." Lara is a phenomenal defensive boxer. Just because he hasn't fought at 160 since Paul Williams doesn't mean he can't be dangerous. If he had options at middleweight no doubt in my mind he'd be there but so far only 154lbers have been willing to fight him. I do agree he's high risk and low reward because hardly anybody besides hardcore fans know who he is but he'd present the perfect style match up to give GGG fits and everybody keeps acting like he's not on GGG level but he's so much more talented then Macklin, Monroe, and Murray. I know he's not a natural middleweight but he's not small either. He's a decent size. People seem to forget after the Canelo fight this guy has been avoided for years and for good reason.

Anyone who gives Lara credit for his movement also needs to realize Anulgo managed to corner him and beat him up... ANGULO..

Now ask, what do Anulgo do better than Golovkin? Absolutely nothing. Not even close.
