Lots of ppl underestimating canelo. He also has power, and has more speed than GGG. Also can counter-punch. Woulsnt be shocked if he hurt GGG.

No contest. Canelo just isn't great at anything. Hand speed being his greatest asset but he can't set up his punches most of the time. His people shouldn't let him in the ring with GGG, honestly.

I give the advantage to Golovkin. It should be a good fight.

This ^. Canelo is solid, even good at some things, but exceptional at nothing. His biggest asset may be his quick flurries but I see these troubling GGG not at all. GGGs workrate, jab and relentless pressure would reduce Canelo's output to the occasional counter. I honestly can't even see a scenario in which the fight's remotely close enough for Canelo to get a robbery SD.

Agreed. Canelo would touch GGG a bit, but he's not going to be able to even sit down on his punches as GGG's pressure will turn Canelo into a backpedaling "boxer". He's not on GGG's level as a boxer nevermind the other aspects combined, just pure boxing. I just can't see the fight lasting 12.

Canelo doesn't have a jab. And he's not fast enough or defensive enough to not have one. No way he beats golovkin. Idc what anyone says. U need a jab to keep a pressure fighter at bay unless u are floyd or Roy or a big puncher.

You could bet your testicles on GGG. Canelo has zero chance.

I dont see Canelo getting past GGG's jab, mainly because Canelo's foot speed is horrible and GGG's got better reach, when he throws his left hand it looks like he has huge reach, but its because of technique.

I dont see Canelo KO'ing GGG, his power is wastly overrated. I imagine him giving GGGpizza face a bit, but not enough for TKO stoppage.

Saul's stamina is horrendous and not improving from fight to fight.

My pick: GGG by stoppage in championship rounds. Canelos chin is solid, but because of stamina issues he will be on ropes all the time in later rounds.

                      Close fight.

This idea that Canelo has no chance is just nonsense IMO. It will be very interesting and also the first major step up for Golovkin as a pro, what he did to the likes of Murray will not happen to Canelo. It just won't.
