No bias there at all. Just a statement of fact. Ward is not a PPV draw. If you believe he is, perhaps you can explain why his next fight is on BET.

And by the way... Golovkin is not yet a PPV draw on his own either. And Ward-GGG combined are not a PPV draw yet either. Nor would Froch-GGG be in the US, it would be in the UK where GGG offered to fight.

      I don't think he's a ppv draw yet.

Funny ya ride that excuse for GGG not to fight ward, but you stated yourself that GGG Isn't ppv material either.

      That's called double standards.

I think this ends horribly for Lara. GGG is a much harder puncher then Canelo and much more technically sound with better foot work, while Canelo wasn't able to land many head shots. He landed a ton of body shots that slowed Lara down. I don't think Lara can take what GGG can dish out to the body if it happened to play out in a similar way. He'd break him down and finish his head off later. Jmo

Why is it a double standard? GGG will only move up or down for a PPV quality fight. That means it has to be against an opponent who on his own is PPV level or combined with GGG will elevate the fight to PPV level. Ward is not that level of fighter. Ward is not PPV quality no matter who he is fighting at this point in time. He could move up in weight and challenge Wlad and it would make no difference. It is just a FACT. If you do not like it, I do not care. I cannot change it.

Given some time, once Ward has started to fight contenders again and has collected another title or two and GGG has unified a couple of titles, a fight between them may well be PPV level. But not at this time.

Cotto on his own is not PPV. Combined with Canelo or maybe GGG, he is. Same with Canelo. Canelo or Cotto against Ward would not be PPV. It is what it is.

And by the way... it is not an excuse, it is a reason. And a very valid one at that.

And by the way... no excuse or reason is needed for GGG not to fight Ward. Ward himself has stated that he needs at least two tune up fights before taking on someone of the level of GGG. So even if GGG wanted the fight next, it would not be accepted.

First of all Lara is a 154 guy who hasnt fought at MW yet, second he said in recent interviews he ain't moving up to 160, so he wants GGG to come down or what?

Lara is a twitter warrior who keeps "calling out" fighters whenver they or he or even both have other fights lined up.

Call out GGG right after the Monroe win, have your Manager or whoever call Tom Loeffler, otherwise shut the **** up.

I'd like to see it, two guys who were as good as they come in the amateurs.

Lara's with Haymon though. How do you get around that?

Lara moves to 160 and becomes WBA mandatory, forcing purse bids.
Danny Jacobs is an in house fight for Lara. He would be 1 win away from getting this ass kicking that so many people want to see.
