This whole #48 thing.....doesnt it diminish Floyds win?

I mean, Leonard beat ATG's Hagler, Hearns, Duran. But Floyd beat #48.

By making Pac just another number doesnt it downplay Floyds achievement?



Also, Floyd wanting credit for beating Pac, but in the past he discredited Pac for losing to Morales.
How can he want credit for beating a fighter he discredited for many years?

You should ask why Shane didn't want to fight Floyd when he was in his prime. Floyd called Shane when Floyd was at 135lbs but Floyd was too dangerous a fighter.

How many of the people saying "I think it was a close fight" or "Pacquiao won" actually scored the fight? I didn't see Shane Mosley or Evander Holyfield sitting ringside with paper and pencil in hand scoring each round.

Isn't it funny how just about all of the observers actually making the effort to score the fight came up with the correct result?

Look at the judges scorecards of 116-112. You just have to look at all the close rounds and see if you can give Manny 2 or 3 of them and the fight becomes a draw or a Manny win.

Floyd did very little in most of those rounds. Lederman gave an early round where the judges didn't. So one more round for Manny and its a draw.

manny won 3 rounds 4 is being generous. He was outlanded in every round except for 4 and 6. About 75% of mannys punches missed. No matter how much you whine about it, he still lost .
