Superior Coach Post MayPac: Floyd Mayweather Sr or Freddie Roach?

So now it's all said and done and the two trainers have gone head to head with their fighters, Mayweather and Pacquiao, does Floyd Sr's stock raise above Roach's stock as a trainer, both now and in the eyes of history?

I think both are overrated. Jr's success is based on what he does himself.

Neither has been able to prove they can build a champion from scratch. Floyd snr has the better claim to it though having Floyd.

        This

Roaches success is based off free agent Acquisitions. Floyd Sr built his son from the bottom up.

We don't know who ran the better camp but Roach gave relevant, technical advise whereas Sr didn't contribute much on fight night. The quality of the coaching doesn't seemto be what won the fight.

Floyd Sr built a boxer from the ground up and that fighter has turned out to be the greatest fighter of our era. Freddie gets fighters that have already been somewhat successful as a fighter and worked with that, his most successful fighter is Manny "my shoulder" pac and he just got taken to school by Sr's creation. So it would have to be Sr. No one around jr's weightclass is competition, exactly why his haters are calling for him to fight a middleweight. And i know he claimed he would come down to fight him at 154, canelo was a champ at 154 he said he's come down to 152 to from 154 to make the fight. And what did his detractors say, "he was drained" with two lbs. Now what are the same detractors gonna say when the middleweight champion comes down even more than canelo did? They will not give him credit, they will complain about floyd not standing toe2toe with the middleweight champion and him being weight drained. This is BOXing and Sr has built the best BOXER of our generation and his BOXer is undefeated vs any Roach boxer. If youre objective, its an easy question, if you accept the former HONORABLE mans excuses youre gonna say roach, even though he's beaten Roach's best boxers everytime.

Huh, Roach's advise was crap. Absolute crap.

What technical advice did Roach give Pacquiao?
