I agreed with Canelo's argument but Pacquiao was after his pay day other than his reputation as champion.

People were booing the Castillo scores and when asked about his poor performance, Floyd blamed it on the rotator cuff injury. Then every thread on that fight, Floyd fans blamed it on the injury .....

It all depends on how you look at it. Manny really wanted that fight and there was a lot of pressure on him to fight then and there. If he didn't, there may not be another opportunity. Who knows. The injury can put him into retirement or Floyd may go into retirement.

Canelo was put in similar situation but for different reason, he fought Floyd. He was told 152 CW or no fight. Canelo fought drained .... Canelo was inexperienced but wanted the opportunity to face Floyd. Inexperienced Canelo fought Floyd. Canelo still needed to fix some issues he had too.

Pacquiao was there to win, not for just a payday.

Nope !! Floyd has had solid D his whole career. What made him hard to beat earlier in his career is that not only did he make you mis but he made sure you paid for it harshly with hard combos .. Thus you see the late corallaes and Gattie.
Even though Gottie was the really last time we saw floyd hist with force and combos.

Etc.
Im pretty sure you can, just look at floyd earlier fights ! Floyd prides himself as being old school, and he earn his name pretty boy not because he was overly handsome but his ability not to get hit.
And like most old school fighter getting hit was not a good sign of a lasting career . Think about it, do you think fighter with over 80 fights made it to that point by taking punishment?
