Mayweather is only "TBE" in his own mind, but it's served him well as his self - belief mechanism must drive to keep winning.

Laila Ali's right that it takes more than an '0' to be the best ever (Calzaghe?). Mayweather has more than that but a little less than others in resume if look past the names and give it closer scrutiny.

Being boring has nothing to do with skillset. For example, Pacman is exciting but got whitewashed by Floyd. SRL had some exciting fights but I dont see him or Duran beating Floyd. Look at what Floyd is doing at 38 and look at what they were doing at 38. Not only that, but no matter if you are big, slow, fast, footwork, no footwork, anyone who faces Floyd is going to look flatfooted, clumsey, and slow. Pacman is fast as a mf, with crazy footwork, and angles. Floyd made him look like a little bum fighter. Pacman changed for that one night. I have Floyd Top 3 based on skills, and based on the fact that the other ATG's would probably look the same as all of Floyd's other opponents.

TBE is a strong brand. People out here take it way too seriously. But with him dispatching Pacquiao I could easily see him being a top 3 ATG. All you gotta do is look at the accolades.

No way you could ever argue top 3. His Resume is very lackluster. Notably lacking in fighters in their prime.
