why are the names I emboldened acceptable? Sell those two to me over Danny Garcia, who has a better resume and more championships than both those guys combined.

Garcia's resume was from 140, and he was embarrassingly outboxed by Herrera and Peterson in his recent fights. Furthermore Garcia hasn't had a meaningful/legit win since he fought Matthysse nearly 2 years ago.

Thurman and Porter are big WW's with power, good chins, and quick reflexes. Thurman's recent wins over Bundu & Guerrero trump anything Garcia's done in the last 2 years and Porter's wins over Alexander & Mallinagi trump Garcia's recent work, even his loss to Brook looked better than either of Garcia's 'wins' over Peterson and Herrera.

If Porter manages to beat Broner, he'll be a far more deserving candidate for Floyd's last fight than Garcia.
