Hell yeah. One "fan" is suggesting Canelo make GGG come down to 154-155lbs.

Well, let's see if Canelo is REALLY all about fighting anyone... GGG wants it son. Where you at?

Why won't he go down for Canelo? That would be the biggest payday of Golovkin's career, especially if the ginger is coming off a victory against Cotto.

What happened to fighting anyone from 154 to 168?

Canelo's got a lot of power over who he fights. He wouldn't have fought Lara if he didn't.

What happened to learning how to read properly? GGG and his camp have always made it clear that moving either up or down a division will only be considered for a PPV fight and a big payday. They have never considered fighting at catchweights and did not even think of requesting one when doing the contract to fight Chavez Jr. As Canelo is no longer fighting at JrMW, and should be removed from all JrMW rankings, he should be able to fight GGG at MW with NO catchweight.

If GGG comes in a pound or two heavier than Canelo, tough luck, that is how divisions are supposed to work. They were never put in place to ensure that fighters weighed exactly the same but to ensure that fighters' weights were close enough to guarantee a fair fight.

I guess we'll see how desperate Team 3G is to secure a payday then. He hasn't proven that he can make 154, but every boxer has no problem sacrificing in order to fight Floyd. GGG will probably choose to wait Canelo out because it's clear that Canelo will end up at MW sooner rather than later. 3G will have to stay dominant and healthy until then.

Canelo taking lessons from Floyd. Let's wait till he's past-prime.

Being a proper Canelo fan let me just say...

why doesn't GGG move up and dare to great by beating Ward? All the other greats moved up. Canelo started his career at WW FFS, this man is almost 33 and hasn't moved up once while Canelo has gone from WW to 154 and now 155.
